2018 Young Readers Festival Drawing Competition

The results are out!

We received numerous wonderful submissions for the 2018 Young Readers Festival Drawing Competition, hosted in partnership with Hysan Development. Participants based their work on the theme “My Hong Kong” and their experience of living in this city.

For the ages 6 to 10 category, the prizes go to:

  • First place - “Chinese Tea”, Sahil Agrawal (Kowloon Junior School, Age 6)
  • Second place - “My City”, Babuappandairaj Harshith (Yau Ma Tei Kaifong Association School, Age 9)
  • Third place - “Bruce Lee”, Yazhini Rajkumar (St. Johanes College, Age 8)

For the ages 11 to 14 category, the prizes go to:

  • First place - “Aqua Luna”, Renigutta Harshitha (Sear Rogers International School, Age 12)
  • Second place - “Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre Wan Chai”, Preksha Dugar (Delia School of Canada, Age 12)
  • Third place - “A Corner of Hong Kong”, Lee Lok Yee (Good Hope School, Age 14)

An exhibition will be held from 29 March to 11 April in Lee Garden Two for winning and notable entries. Winners will also receive signed picture books from the Festival!
