Hong Kong International - Young Readers Festival 2012

Here’s a big “THANK YOU”  to all our authors, sponsors, volunteers and audience for making our very first festival one to remember. But this does not mean you need to wait till March 2013. We are now planning for our 2012 Hong Kong International Literary Festival in October where there will be a programme for teenagers and young adults too.

What’s New

RTHK Interviews YRF12 Authors
The festival’s over but you can still listen to our authors at these interviews conducted by RTHK.

Hong Kong Creative Readers Award
Response has been great and we saw the creative side of our young friends. Visit the competition website Hong Kong Creative Readers Award and find out who the winners are.  And don’t forget to check out the photos on our Facebook page too.

YRF Club

A new club  on the block, run by kids, for kids. How cool is that?  To join, send us an email at kids@youngreadersfestival.org.hk.

During the Festival, our lucky YRF Club Committee members got to dine with writer/illustrator Peter Brown. If that’s not cool enough, they even got to be in a press conference with none other than Eoin Colfer himself! Visit our FB page for the latest news and photos.

We are now working on the 2013 programme. If you have an author in mind, write to us at schools@youngreadersfestival.org.hk
